About the Owner
Your about page should include a mission statement or company history, especially if you aren't the original owner of the business, and your bio. Your bio should include the type of client you most love to serve and should list the various experiences or qualities you possess that make you the ideal professional to solve their problems.
The goal of your bio is to be relatable, real, and welcoming. Avoid speaking in third-person or stating that you are "the only one” who does this or that in your area of industry.
If you are a member of an association or if you've won awards for your work, feel free to mention them toward the end of your bio, but don't make them the highlight. Potential clients care more about whether they can connect with you on a personal level rather than how many letters you have after your name.
